Fluffy White Clouds!

We were asked to decorate a cake so that it looked like fluffy white clouds! The bride was delighted with the result. For more information on the scrummy cake please look at Tiers & Tiaras - a fabulous local cake company ran by Annette & Jaime Tudor.

Busy, busy June!

It's that busy time of year now with weddings galore! And to top it off we couldn't ask for better weather, here's a selection of some of our favourite bridal bouquets so far this month...

My little garden..

I'm having a wonderful time this year growing a small range of flowering plants - I even had enough to cut some at the weekend to dress our table for a small dinner party! Lovely vibrant colours - just look at this red rose, perfect with the lime green alchemilla mollis!

Blue Skies & Blue Bee!

The weekend was hot, hot, hot & the team thoroughly enjoyed this wedding - country classic whites with touches of blue bee delphinium. Simply charming.

Truly Scrumptious!

These peonies are simply divine! The large blooming heads are good enough to eat!!! Ruffles upon ruffles of pink frills - a perfect bridal bouquet by Love Lily.

Check out these adorable Flower Girl handbags created by the team at Love Lily last weekend....simply scrumptious! A perfect accessory for a little flower girl, petite & to die for...who needs a Luis V when you have one of these!

Another Favourite!

I came across these photographs and wanted to share this winter wedding with you. The bridal bouquet contained lilacs, lily of the valley and beautiful David Auston roses, wonderfully traditional & elegant - then wow, what a party to follow, it took us a few days to erect these trees in the middle of the venue! and we spent weeks getting the amaryllis to flower - it was just too cold!!

Professor Plum, in the library, with the dagger......not quite! It was Love Lily in the dining room with the gorgeous vintage roses. This cluedo themed wedding was quirky, elegant and stylish - that's what you get when you meet your partner at a murder mystery evening!

Romance, romance romance - this wedding was picture perfect! From the beautiful table centres to the delightful carousel (yes, it was for everyone to enjoy!), this wedding was simply stunning & wonderfully romantic.

A Bloomin' Big Bouquet!

It's not every day you get an order for a bouquet worth over £100!!!! We loved putting this together - an amazing mix of blues, mauves & purples - and the best bit is that the recipient loved it more!!!

Vanilla smoothies & marshmallow pinks sums up this soft mix of roses, lisianthus & lilies - such gorgeous displays, good enough to eat!

Such a glorious location for this first wedding of the summer! The peonies, sweetpeas, hydrangea & soft summer blooms looked pretty as a picture in the glorious sunshine - and check out the stunning floral heart, a perfect backdrop to the top table.

A Highland Fling!

Always the florist & never a guest!!! Well not this time, it was a pleasure to see special friends tie the knot this weekend and an even greater pleasure to provide the flowers for their big day.

Christening - Angel Hotel Abergavenny

Spring, what a lovely time of the year for a Christening. We really enjoyed putting together these seasonal spring bouquets for a little boy, such a cheery array - perfect when accompanied with the afternoon cream tea & cakes on offer!

Tulips - my favourite flower!

I couldn't resist taking home a bunch of black parrot tulips last week. My favourite flower - and take a look at how they bloomed! Absolutely stunning, I just had to share this with you.
